Dallas Sod will Complete the Look of Your Lawn

If you are moving into a new home or want to remove the current grass from your lawn, Dallas Sod is what you need. The Dallas Sod comes in a variety for home owner's. There is St. Augustine, Bermuda and Zoysia. Each of these types of grass/sod will vary in price. When deciding what type of sod is best for your landscaping needs, keep in mind whether the sod will be in shade or direct sunlight. If the grass will be under a tree, more likely than not, you will need a St. Augustine sod. If the sod will be in direct sunlight, all the time, you will need Bermuda Tifway 419 or Zoysia sod.

When looking for a sod that does not require a lot of water, Bermuda sod is the brand for your home or business. This will be a good sod if you are looking to cut down on water usage.

The majority of sod is rolled up. This is the same for our sod. When our sod is added to your current landscaping, we roll it out over your existing lawn. If your lawn has a lot of weeds, the weeds will need to be removed prior to the sod installation. This will cost extra to the home owner or business owner. Before we ever lay down the sod, we will give you a quote so you can decide what sod works best for your landscaping needs.

If a full sod installation is required, a herbicide is sprayed wherever there are weeds or dead grass. Once weeds are removed, the soil is tilled and flattened out. Once the soil is prepared for the new grass, the sod is rolled out and cut to fit the desired area.

Having a well maintained and crisp lawn, whether for a home owner or business, will always impress family, friends or business associates. A well manicured lawn and the grass you use says you care about the exterior of your home or business.
