Our TwiceBabies, Words and Phrases

Oh yes, our little twicebabies are now like little parrots. They repeat everything we say.

Now, four days ago, Twin "A" says "No, No", with the sweetest look on her face. She has no idea what she is saying, but she says No with such conviction.

Twin "B" says "No" as well, but not as often and with less conviction in her tone of voice.

Oh yes, we now must watch or Ps and Qs because these sweeties will say and do what Daddy and Mommy do now.

Being a two year old is not easy, and when their little mouths begin saying phrases and words, it is just too cute. Our twins little voices are adorable to hear and I look forward to hearing more mimicking from them.

Although, this also means they are not our little babies anymore.

  1. My boy-girl twins are in college now, but when they were one we found out how adventurous they could be.

Both twins were climbers. Our son made it "over the wall" first, muscling his way over the side rail of his crib, then falling to the floor with a thud. This inspired his sister, who waited until we tucked her brother back in, then climbed up over the crib rail and, instead of crashing, climbed nimbly down, stepping gently to the floor.

During a summer party both kids crawled among the guests on our screened-in porch, elevated several feet off the ground. Suddenly our son zoomed straight to the edge, head-butted his way through the screen and launched off the edge of the porch onto a bush, landing surprised but unharmed. Before we could finish dusting him off and getting him buckled into a high chair, his sister had crawled through the newly created hole in the screen.
