Goodness, if I won this fabulous prize, I would definitely stay at a Hampton Hotels & Suites by the beach in my state. The beach is the best place to take a mini vacation for the weekend with all my friends. The friends I would invite would be all my friends from church, bible study, my Mom, Dad, Sister and her family, my own family and my husbands family. Yeah, that would probably reach 100 friends easily.

Being able to get away for the weekend, especially in the summertime, is a must. Along with chilling out at the beach, playing on the sand and swimming in the ocean, I would go shopping in whatever city the beach is in. At night, I would hang out by the poolside with my friends, play some card games and just relax.

Yeah, that sounds like a nice mini weekend vacation to me and probably all my friends too. They are not always able to have a mini vacation. This would be a real treat, indeed. TwiceToddlers and Ice Cream

My twins, they just love ice cream. But, when it comes to ice cream, Twin "B" will only eat Vanilla and Twin "A" will only eat strawberry. I have tried to get Twin "B" to eat chocolate or even Prailines and Cream, but no, only Vanilla will do. Prailines and Cream is my favorite ice cream.

Last week, I talked about my finally being able to catch up with the ice cream truck. There were many flavors to choose from, but Twin "B" only wanted Vanilla. So, I got her a Vanilla Ice Cream Sandwich and Twin "A", her sister, a Strawberry Ice Cream Sandwich.

Last night, Daddy, Mommy and The Twins went out for grocery shopping. While at the store, Daddy had the girls in their favorite cart. It is one with the front end as a pink car. Anyway, they were in one part of the store, the cold section, while I was in the produce aisle.

While they were in the cold or frozen section, Daddy asked them what flavor of ice cream they wanted. Twin "B", of course, choose Vanilla Ice Cream and Twin "A" choose Strawberry.

They were all happy and today, right now in fact, Mommy her twins a scoop of their favorite ice cream after their very, nice, naptime.

TwiceToddlers and Learning Simple Math

When my twins wake up from their nap today, they want to do some simple math problems. They love learning and this is great. They love numbers, big time. Right now, my twins really have no concept of time or what numbers mean, but they like using numbers in their daily sentences.

Take for instance if we drive around town or are waiting on something. For any of these events, Twin "B" will say, "It will take 20 seconds or 10 seconds." Twin "B"'s favorite number seems to be 11 or 10 hundred as she says.

As for Twin "A", she likes numbers, but not as much as her sister. The only number and date they care about is their birthday and date of their birth.

So, when they wake up from their nap, we will (hopefully) have a fun time with numbers.

TwiceToddlers and the Very Windy June Day

Today is the first day of June and guess what...it is windy as all get out. I mean, you would think it is Fall weather outside. This wind began coming in last night around 4ish. The sky had this overcasty look to it and then, all of a sudden, this wind came rolling.

So, this morning, the twins got up and the wind was still, and still is, blowing like it will never stop. Now, the wind would be welcomed if the weather was warmer. But, this never happens in my city. We always have one or the other.

Since it is so windy outside, and not warm at all, my twins are instead inside and watching some movies they like. At least they are staying warm and not wind blown.

Geez...Happy June to Us!!
