Have you ever heard of Melatonin? If not, this is is a naturally occurring hormone found in most animals, including humans, and some other living organisms, including algae. Melatonin is a hormone made by a part of the brain called the pineal (say: "pin-ee-all") gland. Recently, Melatonin has been in many newsletter and online articles about being used as a sleeping aid. Melatonin can and has been used as a sleeping aid for insomnia.
So today while at Tar'get with my twins, I purchased s bottle of Melatonin and before bedtime, my husband, with edge of a knife, crushed the pill and put half of the one pill Twin "A"s milk and the other half of the pill into Twin "B"s milk.
Right now, it is 9:55 and my twins are sleeping quite well. Twin "A" did fuss when Daddy left their room, but Daddy went to consul her real fast, then left. Twin "B" was out like a light. Now, both my twins are sleeping nicely and not screaming.
Praise God for Sleeping Babies!!
