Just bought this barePro Performance Wear Liquid Foundation and Love it!!!

Since bareEssentuals beginnings,  selling their make-up line on QVC, I have started buying from them. Yeah, that is a long time, over twenty years for sure. In the beginning of their make-up line, I was using their mineral power foundation and loved it. I fact, that is all I used and the bronzer.

Well, when I was at the mall a couple weeks ago, I went straight to the bareEssentuals counter, looking for a new foundation powder and came upon this instead. Oh wow, what can I say but I love it.  This liquid foundation I purchased has SPF coverage and has 24 hour coverage.

Whatever color you are looking for, well, there are 30 shades to look at and choose from. The finish of this foundation is naturally matte, creamy smooth texture, is made with bamboo stem extract and papaya enzymes to improve your skins texture immediately and over time.

If you are looking to hide any blemishes, pores or imperfections, this is the foundation for you. Also, this foundation is sweat resistant, water resistant, heat resistant and even stays on with humidity.  If you are concerned about oils, parabens, sulfate or even fragrances, well this liquid foundation if free from these too. Sounds like a winner to me.

The method for applying this liquid foundation if with the pump under the cap. It is best to apply a pump to the outside of your hand and apply to your face from the inside of your face to the outside to make sure you have full coverage.

To look closer at this foundation, click on the image above and you will go to a page to learn more about it.

Until next time friends, have a blessed day!

Games to Enhance your Baby’s Development

With your baby’s mind growing so fast during their early formative years, it is natural to want even their playtime to be educational. Here are some fun games to play with your baby that will aid them in their development.

Music
It doesn’t matter what age you are, everyone loves music. Let your little one experiment with different sounds by playing kid-friendly musical instruments. You most likely already have a rattle, so why not purchase a mini-drum or keyboard? And try not to worry too much about the loud noise.

Copy Cat
Place your baby in front of a mirror. Let them crawl up to it and touch it. Play copy-cat with them, getting them to do certain movements and letting them watch as their reflection does the same.

Sing
Unless your baby is a child prodigy, it is highly unlikely they will be able to sing themselves. Sing to your baby and let them make noises along with you. Provide something visual as well. This can be dancing, clapping, or just letting them wiggle on the floor.

Name Game
Play a game of naming the parts of the body. Say the names as you touch their feet, belly, arms, fingers, and so on. Repetition is key, and it is a very close bonding time. Make sure to use the proper names even if they can’t say them yet.

Peekaboo
You would be surprised how beneficial a game of peekaboo can be. Eye contact can help with facial recognition, displaying and understanding emotions, and helps to create a strong bond. This game also lets them begin to understand cause and effect, along with permanent and temporary states. They might not fully grasp the concepts yet, but their minds are taking it all in and working on it.

Patty-cake
This game helps your baby develop their hand-eye co-ordination. They can start to distinguish patterns and experiment with how they move their arms and body. Pair this game with a fun and educational rhyme!

Clean-up
Yes, even getting your baby to help you clean will enhance their development. This doesn’t mean sending them into the bathroom to scrub the toilet, but working with them to put their toys back in a proper place can teach responsibility and how items can be sorted into categories.

Pets
Growing-up with a pet is not only a lot of fun, but your child can forge new skills as they forge their friendship. Be with them as they play age-appropriate games like fetch. Teach them about how to manoeuvre their bodies so they can ‘friendly-pat’ their pet. Find out how to include them in caring for the pet at www.catlittlersource.com.

All children mature and grow at different rates, so don’t worry if they are more receptive to one game than another. Provide positive reinforcement for their attempts, praising them for trying but still correcting them.

Keeping Your Messy Eater of a Baby Out of Trouble

Is your baby the messiest little one in the world? Having a dirty kid can be a chore indeed. Some children are very well-behaved in most situations. Woe betides the unsuspecting adult who tries to feed them at meals, though. Messy eaters are the worst to deal with because of the cleanup than afterward takes so much time and effort. According to clean-smarter.net, there are ways in which you can prevent the mess from ever reaching your clean kitchen floors.

Invest in a Bib and Use it
Bibs are remarkable inventions for parents around the world. Having a little cloth bib for your baby is perfect for keeping them clean and looking cute. You don’t have to just use it as a blast shield, either. You can use it as a towel to wipe up stray food when it gets everywhere! Babies can’t spit like adults can – your child is going to be dribbling food all over themselves without spraying it everywhere. Of course, as your kid grows up and learns to use a spoon alone, you’ll need more than a cloth bib. Plastic bibs are more heavy-duty and can catch the worst of the spills with ease.

Get Food That Isn’t Messy
The food industry has heard the prayers of beleaguered parents everywhere. There are particular brands of baby food out there that have specially thickened sauces. This food sticks to the spoon and doesn’t spill or spray all over the place. Other than this, you can get creative when figuring out what to feed your baby every day. Some food is less messy than other types. For example, you can mix cereal with bananas squished into a paste, making it a perfect source of good, non-messy nutrition.

Start Cleaning While Feeding
It's a very easy way to avoid walking into your kitchen after feeding time and wanting to drown yourself in the kitchen sink. Clean it up right then, if you notice a little spill while you’re feeding your child. Freshly dropped food is easier to clean. After feeding's over, take the ten seconds to wipe up after each mouthful, and you will see less of the nuclear fallout! Dab at the bib too if you want to. The cleaner it is, the less likely food is to roll off the bib and onto the floor.

Eat Outside More Often
It's a simple way around messy post-baby kitchens. Take them out to the deck every day in the summer and eat there instead! You get to expose your kid to the beauty of natural living. They get to make as big a mess as they want without destroying your floors. It’s a win-win situation that works for everyone!

Using these simple tips and tricks can easily solve your problem of a messy child. There are plenty of other ways in which you can use your creative mind to address this issue. Learn to deal with your child’s messes as soon as they happen – this is the best way to manage them.

The Risks of Buying Homes by the Water

There are many benefits of buying and owning property by a river, lake, or the sea. However, there are also many risks to consider. Before you go ahead and get yourself an awesome new waterfront property, you should take the time to evaluate the risk vs. reward and figure out if the purchase is a genuinely wise decision for you. Oceanfronthhi.com recommends that you check out the common risks listed below and determine if this is the right fit.

Your Taxes Might be Higher

When you buy a home or property located near a body of water, you’re investing in a place with gorgeous views. It is a place for you to escape to from busy life in the city. Who doesn’t want to be able to wake up on a summer morning and go for a swim right outside their door? The problem here is that most tax analysts and assessment specialists keep raising the value of waterfront homes. After a few years of ownership, there is a chance that your next evaluation will be so high you just sell your home to get rid of the drain on your resources.

This rise in the assessment can be even higher if the general neighborhood is also becoming more popular, or if you have built more structures on the property like a boathouse or pool. With possible increases in assessment values of about 50% a year, you stand to lose a lot of money in the long run unless you fight the assessment. While many people say that this is just one of the costs of living in a gorgeous home like this, it is something to think long and hard about.

The Danger of Water Damage

Most waterfront properties are located near lakes and rivers. Depending on the terrain and the climate, there is a another threat presenting itself to you. There is a high chance that you will face severe flooding at least once during your ownership period. Since flood damage isn't a clause in most home insurance policies today, you may have to pay out of your own pocket to repair the damages caused by the flooding. If you live in an area with a history of floods, it is best to get this damage covered by your insurance when you buy the home, just in case.

Some people buy waterfront properties in areas where there have never been floods in the past. This doesn’t mean that water damage won’t be a problem. Water from the nearby lake can seep through the ground and to your foundations over time. In the course of a few years, there could be significant damage caused to the foundations and structures of your home. Before you buy a property, make sure you have a damage expert analyze the foundations to determine their integrity.

While it is true that homes by the water are exquisite properties with a lot of potential for a family home, they aren't without their own set of risks. Be sure that you are okay with all of these and more before purchasing your home.

When Mommy Accidently Injures Herself

Hello everyone!

Okay, so three times a week I have to inject myself with this drug (I really do not like doing) for the M.S. symptoms in this earthly body of mine. Well, on Monday, I hit a blood vessel and WOW, it hurt so bad and the blood had begun to spread.

It stings pretty bad, but I asked my sister and went online to see what I can use in my Family Physician Kit to take away the pain and heal this very ugly wound. When I typed in 'broken blood vessel and essential oil' together, I was taken to a page that said to apply LAVENDER.

There are two other essential oils I could have used, if I had those oils on hand, but I have LAVENDER. So, since Monday night, I have been applying my Lavender Essential Oil two to three times day. Well let me tell you, not only is the wound healing, but the pain is reducing as well.
It also does not hurt to pray for healing. My twins and I prayed for my healing after they saw what Mommy did to herself by injecting myself in the wrong place.. So, if you have a bruise or break a blood vessel in a place other than your neck, use Lavender like I am doing.

I sell a great little kit called the Introductory Kit, just click on my SHOP NOW link above. Yes, I am an example of how these essential oils work for whatever ails you my family and friends.. God Bless..

With Life's Up's and Down's, Sometimes You Need An Attorney On Your Side

This post brought to you by Temecula Law Firm. The content and opinions expressed below are that of http://momoftwicebabies.blogspot.com/.

When one goes about their daily lives, it never occurs to them that they might need the assistance of an attorney, right? Needing to call upon the help of an attorney is, more likely than not, far from anyone's mind. Honestly, it is not as if one wakes up one morning and says, "Today I will have to call a professional and well trained attorney in the criminal field." No, this is not what one thinks about. Just in case one needs a criminal law attorney though, they will have to call a Criminal Attorney Temecula, California.

Crimes could be from a misdemeanor to a feloney. Either way, a good and experienced criminal attorney, in the Temecula, CA area, is the only place to consider. Accusations of a crime is stressful as it is, staying silent and in control is sure to help after contacting a law firm in the Temecula, CA area.

Now, being accused of a criminal act can also lead to an individual needing a Family Attorney Temecula, California. Yes, sometimes these two areas of law cross over and might need both areas of the law used to fight for a client's freedom of a false accusation.

Instead of relying on a city attorney to "handle" your case, call a professional law firm who talk with and win criminal and family law cases all the time.

Are You Looking For Ways To Stay Safe Online?

Follow my blog with Bloglovin
If you are someone who has been part of the social media crowd since the mid-2000’s, you are more likely to be familiar with the dangers still out there, and on the rise, to those who have become, somewhat, comfortable, in this new way of existing online. Yes, the social media market has become a place of existence for the majority of people who are online today. The computer is no longer just used for the workplace or homework, no, now it is used to connect with old friends, talk to family members and even meet new people.

Yes, meeting new people can be fun, but can you really trust them? Did you know that there are over 20 social media sites on the Internet today? That is a lot of information you might be giving these places as well. Listen, it is not necessary to be signing up with all these social media websites, so if you can, stay with the top three where you know you will log on to everyday.

Speaking of top three, let me share with you the top three (3) things about yourself that you should never, ever, share online. Yes, yes, it seems the world is getting smaller and smaller, but this does not mean you have to give away all your personal information to this now small world.

  1. Sharing your password: This, above all, is a no, no. Please, whatever you do, do not share your password. It does not matter what website you go to, personal, business or government; do not give your password. If these places are asking for your password, leave these that website and never return.
  2. Sharing your home address: Oh yes, this is just as bad as sharing your online password(s) online. The last thing you want is for someone you met online to show up at your home uninvited. This is where logic comes into play. Please, use reason and logic when deciding to give out your home address. If anything, meet in a place wit lots of people, like a restaurant, mall or park, but do not give out your home address.
  3. Sharing your phone number: Sharing your phone number is just as bad as sharing your password(s) or home address. Privacy is still very important today and the last thing you want is to be receiving phone calls, from a stranger you met online, at all hours of the days.

Finally, our privacy is all we have these days. If we willingly give out this information, we are the ones to blame for having no privacy, right? Now, one might think it is no big deal, but what happens if something terrible happens to yourself or a family member? Will you remember the time you gave out your password, home address and/or phone number? Probably not.

Also, when you or your business are looking to do work in the cloud, and still rely on privacy, there is only one company to do business with. This company is SingleHop. SingleHop, through their automation platform, allows an organization to effectively migrate or deploy workloads in the Cloud.

I do not always give out my personal information friends, but when I do…oh heck, I never give out my personal information. Stay safe my friends!

It is so nice being close to the beach living in a new home

The beach is the best place to be at in the summer months. There is so much to do while at the beach. People like to go either alone, with family and or friends alike. While hanging out at the beach, people can

  • Play in the sand
  • Build sandcastles
  • Look for sand crabs and seashells
  • Body surf or use a surfboard
  • Walk down the strand or boardwalk
  • Play volleyball
  • Throw a Frisbee
  • Have a fun picnic
  • Go hiking in the hills or trails some beaches have
  • Fish on the pier
  • Get a tan and read a book or magazine.
There are endless things one can do while at the beach, even as the sun goes down. People love to start a bonfire and make S’Mores with family and friends too. Making S’Mores is part of summertime on the beach. Now, it is one thing to be visiting the beach for a day or two, but what about living at the beach. For most people who live in a state that has a coastline, more likely than not, they want to live at the beach and join the local surf club and be involved in a lot of beach activities. This one beach activity, surfing, is a lot more fun when one lives at the beach, indeed.

Living in a beach home is great because one will usually live at the beach forever and possibly pass down their home to family members, like children or grandchildren. If one lives in Florida, beach lovers will want to look into Harbour Beach homes where residents can become members, if they own a boat, lease a boat slip, join the surf club, become acquainted with other community members and join in on current calendar events.

There is nothing more fun than living at the beach and being involved in beach events put on my the beach city or local beach city communities. When living at the beach, one must take advantage of the warm weather, beach activities and restaurants along the boardwalk or in the downtown area as well.

Why is it important for teenagers to begin a summer internship?

Whether teenagers have two or three months off for the summer, there is no reason for a teenager to be bored, at home, if they have no plans for going places with their family. Instead of being bored during the summer months, teenagers can earn some skills in the workplace. There are several places for teenagers to work where they can ‘get their feet wet’ so to speak. So places for teenagers to earn some internships credits, paid or unpaid, might be i

  1. An office environment: Not all teenagers have to work in fast food, which is usually a paid job if a teenager is 16 or over. Working in an office environment, especially in a place a teenager might want to pursue a career in the future, is a great way to learn a little bit about that company, before deciding if this is the career for them.
  2. Provide employer with things from checklist below:A summer intern will want to provide their potential summer employer with:
    • References (family, friends or past/current employer)
    • Research potential job before any interview
    • Make sure your Facebook page, or any other social media sites, look professional
    • Provide possible employer with a professional looking email address and finally
    • Provide employer with some personal networks where student might already know professionals.
  3. Teenagers will develop interview skills: The best way for a teenager to learn about a job internship is through interviewing. Teenagers will have to write up a resume and cover letter for their potential internship offer. Regardless of how may interviews a teenager sits through, they will develop interview skills along the way and learn what needs to be changed in order to acquire that intern job they desire.
  4. Benefits of doing an internship: It is important for any teenager doing an internship to impress their employer by following directions and when in doubt, ask questions about a certain task that is needed right away. In fact, going above and beyond, what is required of an intern will put the intern in a good light for a future internship or possible hire.
Finally, when teenagers decide they want to apply for an internship, the best time for them to begin their search is in the winter or spring months, as this is when other teenagers will begin applying for internships as well. Stay ahead of the game and apply to more than one job for a better chance of being hired.

For teenagers looking for fun summer job, they will want to begin searching for jobs at summer camps in your city or state. So teenagers, do your best research on summer camps  right now, before the summer months begin. Working at a summer camp is fun, especially if you like to be outdoors. Right now is the best time to get an interview, and possibly hired. Learn more about summer camps and how to choose a summer camp for you child as well.

Looking for Dell Laptop Parts is Easy today

Finding Dell laptop parts can be found through a variety of places today. Dell clients can look online or a Dell free standing, brick and mortar, store.  For Dell clients who prefer to shop online, this is probably the best place to search for laptop parts. When searching for laptop parts, it is easier to compare and contrast prices from more than one seller. These days there is no need to go with just one laptop parts seller. In fact, sometimes a buyer might want to tell a potential seller where they saw a particular part(s) they need cheaper through another seller.

Some of the most replaced laptop parts are batteries and monitors. For obvious reasons, these would be the most replaced parts because the battery is constantly being charged and the monitor is always being opened and closed. This alone would tire out the monitor and give it a major thrashing as well. Yes, our laptops go through a lot of stress and need to be taken care of. Replacing laptop parts is just part of owning any laptop. Many laptop owners would like to think they will never need to replace certain laptop parts, but this is not so. Be prepared to replace such parts as the battery and monitor, maybe even the motherboard or CD player.

Have You Ever Wanted To Know How Probate Works?

A probate, for anyone who does not understand, is a legal process that helps clients either pay off debts or divide assets and property when a family member, or individual, has passed away.  The majority of probates will have a will drawn up, also known as a Last Will and Testament. These types of wills come with a lot of requirements and possible conditions from either the heirs and or creditors. Once the will and testament is drawn up, the attorney and probate clients have to go to probate court where the assets, from the passed away individual, including taxes and any other expenses, will be divided among the listed heirs.

Now, it is not always necessary to go to court, but if there are issues that come up with the heirs of a probate, a court hearing will be necessary. This is also called probate litigation. A probate litigation will include, but not limited to, certain laws, statues and codes which are necessary for a particular clients will, trust, or testament. Also depending on the size of an estate attorney's, such as probate attorney John Farina, will be prepared for a clients probate litigation court hearing when the court date arrives.

There are several types of probate wills for clients to consider when hiring a probate attorney. The probate attorney will either suggest the right will for their client to use, or the client will choose for the attorney. It is usually better for the attorney to decide when it comes to drawing up any probate will. These are the various probate wills for clients to consider:

  • Mistake in Exececution
  • Mental Capacity (or lack thereof)
  • Undue Influence
Finally, a probate attorney wants the whole process to go as smoothly as possible. Probate attorneys do not look forward to seeing their clients unhappy and will do all they can to please their clients and possible heirs of the drawn up probate.

PB + J, International is a blessing to those with SAM

SAM, also being a person's name, is also a known for as Severe Acute Malnutrition. This happens to be the number one killer of children under five years of age. There are nearly 20 million children around the world who suffer from SAM. Sadly, more than 3.5 million children every year die from SAM. Being malnourished does not have to happen though. There is a proper treatment available to the majority of children who are currently living with SAM. In fact, right now there are companies addressing SAM by producing Ready-to-Use-Therapeutic-Foods (RUTF).

One such fortified food is peanut butter. A five-person, non-profit organization based in Laguna Niguel, Calif., saved the lives of 1,200 children suffering from Severe Acute Malnutrition in Malawi, Africa … in just 17 months. This is true, and still happening today. Within a five years time, and working with a number of global humanitarian organizations in Malawi, Africa, a Laguna Niguel, California resident Stan Smith realized that Malawi’s nutritional issues still remained despite the many water wells, building schools and developing livestock programs.

This is when Stan Smith witnessed the horrible effects of Severe Acute Malnutrition (SAM) and decided he had to do something about this devastating epidemic. So, in March 2012, Stan Smith recruited his friends Brian Hunsaker, Haley Hunsaker, Donna Wertz and Heather Premac in the creation of  PB+J Foods, Inc. PB + J Foods, Inc. is a non-profit organization designed specifically to wipe out Severe Acute Malnutrition in underdeveloped nations, like Malawi.

The peanut butter paste made through the PB + J Foods, Inc. is being sold to hospitals and world relief agencies like World Vision and UNCEF. PB+J Foods, Inc.does more than make the peanut butter paste, they help create sustainability through a Co-op Farmer Program. This program usually  has between 800 to 1000 farmers enrolled. This program, for the most part, trains single mothers, which often produce the best long term results. The Co-op Farmer Program help the farmers buy seeds for their peanut crops and teachers farmers how to grow their peanut crops. Showing farmers how to grow their own peanut crops enables the farmers to create their own cash crop for locals in the project area.

Just one jar of peanut butter paste is a therapeutic food treatment that provides all the nutritional requirements for one child a day. This is amazing what this peanut butter paste does for the malnourished bodies of children in Malawi, Africa. There are over 16,000 pounds of peanut butter paste jars distributed from PB + J Foods, Inc and this is enough to save over 1,200 children. This is one amazing company that wants to see all children in Malawi, Africa healthy on a daily basis.

There is no need to stress out about Dell computer parts

Every computer, at one time or another will need to have some parts repaired. Even the best laptop computer will need to be upgraded with current parts available by the laptop company. The best way for a laptop to increase its speed is by updating, installing, new parts. In fact, the best way for any laptop to last more than a year is by installing new parts. For those with a lot of laptop parts knowledge, they can either install parts themselves, or send the laptop to a company that installs Dells computer parts. For those wanting parts installation done right the first time, it is best to go through a Dell computer repair company the first time around.

One laptop part that might be overlooked, at times, for needing a new part is the motherboard. This is practically the heart of the laptop, or desktop, computer. Now, because there are more than one type of Dell laptop, desktop, computer, there will be more than one motherboard. It is important to look for, and purchase the one made for your laptop, desktop, computer. The last thing anyone wants is to look at, and purchase, the wrong motherboard. Right now, Dell has over fifteen makes and models of motherboards.

These are the current Dell computer motherboards to look at and purchase:

  • Dell Latitude E6410 Laptop Motherboard (System Mainboard) with Integrated Intel Graphics - UMA - HNGW4
  • Dell Inspiron 15R (N5010) Motherboard System Board with Discrete ATI Graphics - 6V89F
  •  Dell Alienware M17xR3 Laptop Motherboard (System Mainboard) - GFWM3
  •  Dell Precision M4400 Laptop Motherboard (System Mainboard) with Nvidia Quadro 1700M Graphics - K390N
  • Dell Adamo 13 Motherboard with Intel SU9400 Core 2 Duo 1.4Ghz / 2GB Memory - 9VK9Y

Being a Dell computer customer is great because they have excellent customer service and when it comes to needing a new part, specifically motherboards, Dell offers all the motherboards needed by customers for their particular repair. The last thing computer customers want is to waste time fixing their computer. This is why it is best to have a computer repaired right the first time around. This, indeed, will lower anyone's stress level.

Twice Girlies Have School Photos Today

Alright, this is the end of the second week of the 2013/2014 school year. So far my twins have not had a lot of homework. This week they did two math pages, read all week long with Mommy from the McGuffey's Reader. This book has good stories in it and prayers to. My twins also studied for their spelling test and put together an "All About Me"/Show and Tell" brown bag for class. Their second week of school has been pretty slow and easy. I am hoping they receive more school work soon and I receive their teacher's email address to.

Oh, my twins also plan to purchase some books from Scholastic in their library either today or some time next week. I think my twins like to look through the book catalog and buy the books, instead of reading the books they buy. I don't know, maybe it is just me, but this is what I see. Mommy will have them loving to read by the end of the year though. My twins know Mommy loves reading. I can read 2-3 books at a time on my Kindle Fire.

Oh but I digress.....

So today is their 2013/2014 school photo session. I had them wear the outfit they wore on the first day of school last year. I love this outfit and with all the awesome clothes they have to wear everyday, I had planned on them wearing this totally cool dress Auntie Amy got them, but then I was looking through their closet and found these cute tops/shirts sets Nana got them last year for the first day of school.

Well, I changed my mind at the last moment, last night as they were going to bed. So, this is what they are wearing and I hope their photos turn out good..Last years photo was alright, but I would like this years to turn out better...

Here is for hoping and praying....

Are You Familiar with Nail Art?

Just in case you are not familiar with nail art, this is a type of painting the fingernails with with all sorts of bright colors and designs. The designs can be of anything an individual might like. Some designs might include the sun, moon, starts, sprinkles, a gradient look, the written word and so much more. Nail art might be considered the smaller version of body art. Well today there are a lot of ladies having their nails painted with all the nail art designs available.

In fact, Red Carpet Manicure is the only company to buy nail art design kits from when deciding to have your fingernails stand out wherever you go. Fingernails are seen everyday, by family, friends and acquaintances alike. It is always nice when shaking someones hand that fingernails look presentable, and even have people asking such questions as, "Where did you get your fingernails done?"

Now, if you have never heard of Red Carpet Manicure before, they are the number one manicure at home company being used by celebrities such as Jennifer Lopez, Blake Lively and Rhianna. When deciding to have your fingernails done by Red Carpet Manicure, you can choose from sophisticated designs to now, their most popular LED gel nail polish that lasts weeks.

There are several manicure kits to look at and try at home, along with nail applique's and nail art tutorials to see how to easily paint your nails at home like the nail salons do. Right now Red Carpet Manicure is having a sweepstakes which is taking place on the Red Carpet Manicure Facebook Page.

It is time to have fun with nail polish, especially when you can do it at home with a variety of Red Carpet Manicure kits to look at and choose from.

Twins Begin School This Week

My twins began school this week. Even though their summer was short, we did a lot to keep them busy and just have a fun time. We went to see my parents, sister (and her boys-my nephews-my twins cousins), and  my Gramma and one of my Aunt's. We stayed at my parents home for two weeks. Those two weeks went by way to fast, in my opinion, but my twins had a great time at the beach, 2x, park, going to get a pedi and manicure, going to movies and shopping.

Then, the weekend before school began, we went to a campsite near a Northern California beach. It was cold....and we might not go to that campsite again. But my goodness, we should have known it would be cold. The Northern California beaches are usually always colder than in Southern California. Well, on our last day of camping, we drove down 17 Mile Drive, hoping to see some Deer. We saw no Deer, but we stopped at each cove and got out of our car to play in the water.

My twins, they love the ocean water, warm or cold. This day was no different. They put on their swim suits and played in the water. BRRR, no thank you! I passed on playing in the water. While playing in the water, we did play in the  Tide Pools. My twins, silly girls, would call the Tide Pools, 'tight pools' or something like this.

All in all, we had a great summer. It is a shame school has to begin when it is still hot outside. I miss the days when starting school after Labor Day was the norm. I do not understand why the schools, public I suppose, have to start school in August.

Anyway, this was the first week of school. My twins are in the 3rd grade now and they love their teacher! They have a lot of their friends from last year in their class this year. Some of their close friends though, are not attending their school this year and my twins are sad. So is Mommy. We pray though that my  twins close friend will be able to attend my twins school like she did in 1st grade.

This year, in my twins classroom, all the students have their own desks, facing the blackboard and the classroom is small, but there are still the same amount of students as last year. Just like 1st and 2nd grade, my twins are not sitting next to each other. This is a plus for me, my twins and the teacher.

Now, unlike last year, my twins will have to complete a homework assignment everyday to be handed in everyday. This should be easy for my twins though and it allows my twins to not be lazy. Yesterday was Open House, I think it is called Open House, to meet the teacher. She is adorable and has such a good attitude. I like how her class is structured and all the rules for the class she passed out to the parents.

Yeah, this will be a good school year, indeed!

Ciao!
